Wife's Day?

Well as many of you know I am not a mother yet. But that didn't stop me from joining the celebrations. Chase even got me a mothers day present!! It was so cute. He came in the door last night after I had gotten off work with two flower pots. They have flowers growing in them. He got them for our front step for mothers day. How cute is that?!
Today we got to go to sacrament meeting at Chase's parent's ward. We headed over to eat brunch with my family and then mad our way over to eat dinner with his family. Having two families to split our time between is hard but it's fun to spend time with everyone. Chase's brother Bret is on a mission in North Carolina. He got to call this afternoon it was fun to chat with him for a minute. I've never actually met him in person but we talked on the phone. It was quite the fun experience.
Chase and I decided to just come home tonight and spend the night together since we had been running all day. When we first started dating Chase would always talk about his Grandma's apple dumpling dessert. I said I would try to learn how to make them for him and tonight was the night we chose to experiment with her recipe. We weren't sure if we were doing them right to begin with but after a while and lots of poking from Chase they started cooking up right and they actually turned out quite good.
We're still just working, sleeping, cleaning, and keeping up with life but we can't complain. We love our mommies and all of you mommmies out there and hope you had a great day!
